Imhotep Program ( 6 days, 5 nights - 2 Nights Cairo - 1 Night Luxor - 2 Nights Sleeping train )
Day 1:
- Arrival to Cairo airport, transfer to your hotel
- Over Night in Cairo.
Day 2:
- Breakfast, Start your full day visiting The Egyptian Museum, where you can find the greatest collection of Egyptian antiquities. The treasures from Tutankhamun's tomb - these occupy a large area along almost two side of the upper floor. Chariots, gloves, jewellery, the famous mask - many of the antiquities from his tomb are displayed here. The Pyramids, (Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions). The three largest and the best-preserved pyramids of Giza and were built at the beginning of the Old Kingdom. They constitute one of the most potent and enduring symbols of Ancient Egyptian civilization. Then enjoy a close view to The Sphinx, the huge creature with the head of a human and a lion's body. It is the first truly colossal royal sculpture in Egypt. Then visiting Khan El- Khalili bazaars. Transfers to the train station for your overnight Sleeping train to Luxor. Dinner on the train. Over night in Sleeping Train.
Day 3:
- Breakfast on the train. Arrival Luxor, start your tour to The West Bank. Where you can visit The Valley of the Kings. It is one of the most remarkable archaeological destinations in the world - the burial place of most of the pharaohs of Egypt of the New Kingdom period. Followed by a visit to Hatshepsut Temple. The temple was built by Queen Hatshepsut 5th ruler of the 18th dynasty.
- Then visit The Colossi of Memnon, the twin statues depict Amenhotep III (fl. 14th century BC) in a seated position. Then visiting The East Bank, where you can visit The Karnak. It is the biggest temple complex in the world, covering an area of 100 hectares and there is nowhere more impressive to the first-time visitor. Followed by a visit to Luxor Temple. This temple was built by the two pharaohs: Amenhotep lll and Ramses ll. It was built in the heart of the ancient city of Thebes, and was connected to Karnak by a 3 kilometer processional way lined with sphinxes.
- Over night in Luxor.
Day 4:
- Breakfast, (Optional): free day. Full Day Tour, in the morning we drive to Abydos, where the ancient Egyptians believed the god Egypt for you (lord of the underworld) to be buried. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt. We then continue to Denderah to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy. Hathor Temple, with its sacred lake and famous astrological roof, is a delicately beautiful structure. Hathor is the patroness of the Ahathoor Temple.
- Transfers to the train station for your overnight Sleeping train to Cairo. Dinner on the train.
- Over night in Sleeping Train.
Day 5:
- Breakfast on the train. Arrival to Cairo. (Optional): Full day tour. Visiting Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt where Colossal Statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. Sakkara, it is 27-Km Southwest of Cairo. Including a visit to The Step Pyramids of Sakkara (The first proper Pyramids built for the king Zoser, it is considered evolution of the Pyramid from the simple Mastaba to the Pyramid in its known form).
- At Night enjoy the Dinner Cruise.
Day 6:
Breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport.
