Amoun Island****: The hotel was originally a private villa developed between 1860 and 1956. Nationalized in 1961, the property came under state ownership through the Egyptian General Company for Tourism and Hotels (EGOTH), an affiliate of the Housing Tourism and Cinema Holding Company. On 13 April 1986, EGOTH entered into a lease agreement with the French resort operator, Club Med. Under the terms of the agreement, Club Med holds a lease on the property for 20 years commencing in October 1986. Extensive renovations to the property have been made by Club Med, including the construction of an external swimming pool and sauna complex. Pyramisa Isis Island Resort****: The hotel Isis is built on an island in the middle of the Nile in central Aswan There is great views of the mountains, the Nile and Aswan city from the hotel. The privacy of the resort, with its shuttle boats 24 hours a day, with free transportation to and from the city centre, makes it a great base from which to enjoy Egypt.
